What do we wear for the lifestyle photos?
Looking at my previous sessions or Pinterest is a great place to draw inspiration for what to wear. Bring a few outfit options if you are not sure, I do request NO big brand names and simple matching outfits please.
What if I need to cancel?
The deposit is non refundable, unfortunately we book the date for you and close that date for any other clients. You are more than welcome to cancel within 24 hours’ notice and reschedule for another date.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather forecast predicts rain or very strong winds on the day of your photoshoot, the session will be canceled and moved to another date. This policy applies to all shoots, no exceptions, as the safety of both the equipment and the experience is my top priority.
Obviously, this does not include weddings, which will proceed as planned unless otherwise specified.
However, for couples who are open to the adventure of a rainy or windy shoot (No thundershowers or storm prediction), I’m happy to proceed with the session, as these conditions can create some truly stunning photos. Please note that if you choose to go ahead with a shoot in adverse weather, my assistant will need to accompany us to hold an umbrella and ensure the safety of my equipment.
For all other types of sessions, including maternity and family shoots, if the weather forecast is showing rain or very strong winds, we will need to reschedule.
When will we get our photos?
All sessions are edited in the order they are photographed. This ensures a fair and consistent process for every client. Editing is a detailed, time-intensive process. Each image is individually reviewed and professionally edited to ensure a high standard of quality. This process cannot be rushed. By booking a session, you agree to the following standard turnaround times:
Lifestyle Sessions: Up to 2 weeks from the session date
Weddings & Larger Events: Up to 4–6 weeks from the event date
Rush Editing Option
I understand that some clients may need their photos sooner for personal reasons or special deadlines. While I generally edit galleries in the order they are photographed, I offer a Rush Editing Service for both lifestyle sessions and weddings when available.
The rush fee reflects the extra hours and adjustments required in my schedule to prioritize your gallery ahead of others in the editing queue.
Rush Editing Details:
Lifestyle Sessions: Fee: R300 Delivery within 7 days of your session
Weddings: Fee: R1500. Delivery within 3 weeks of your wedding date
Rush editing is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.
Please note that this service requires me to work outside of normal editing hours, and availability is limited to maintain fairness and quality for all clients.
Do you give out RAW images?
No I don’t, editing is a huge part of the creative process. I promise to give you all the memories you would want.
Can you photoshop me?
No, I can clear skin, remove pimples and enhance features but I don’t make your bodies look different. I focus on capturing your natural beauty.
How do I book for my wedding or a lifestyle shoot?
A 50% deposit is required to book your date, remainder of payment day of photoshoot.
Booking & Payment Terms for Weddings:
To secure your booking, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.. The remaining balance can be paid through flexible monthly payment plans, making your payment experience as easy and manageable as possible.
All payments must be fully completed at least 1 week before your wedding.
